Rapides-Farmer speed governor installation and commissioning
Replacement and commissioning of unit U3 governors for GE Vernova / Hydro-Québec.
Rapides-Farmer station (Hydro-Québec), a heritage facility since 1927, had unit U3 fitted with new speed governors for GE Vernova. Over about six months in 2023, FORWA installed and verified commissioning, with recorded tests, non-conformance tracking, and tests witnessed by GE and approved by Hydro-Québec.
